In addition, CoGen Media will market SoSure in Japan, including to its already existing customer base.
“CoGen Media has years of experience in the Japanese software market. By partnering with CoGen Media, SoSure is looking forward to offering secure online backup to a new market,” said Daniel Elfort, CEO, SoSure.
After hearing of customer experiences with data loss, CogenMedia determined that it was necessary to find an online backup product that would be able to best protect customer data. CoGen Media chose to distribute SoSure based on the technology behind the product as well as the ease of use that was offered.
“Many of our customers request continuous online backup. We have decided to partner with SoSure as they have designed the product to be user friendly, as well as maintaining the advanced IBM technology that makes the program superior,” comments Jack Chen, President, CoGen Media Ltd.
All user data is stored on IBM managed hosting centers, which are some of the safest in the world. SoSure works by running in the background on the users computer, noting every time a change is made and uploading it to the backup server. All data is encrypted making it completely private to anyone but the user.
