Mike McGuire Chief Commercial Officer at Nexsan

Nexsan Corporation announced the appointment of storage industry veteran Michael McGuire to the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. McGuire will be responsible for extending Nexsan’s growth by leading its worldwide sales, marketing and business development activities and will report to Nexsan CEO Philip Black.

Recently, McGuire served at Sun as Vice President, Americas Storage Sales with leadership responsibilities over sales, field marketing, business development, channel management, finance and administration. He was also responsible for leading its organizational design and change management plan and launching the Storage Practice organization following the acquisition of Storage Technology Corporation (StorageTek).

Prior to Sun, Mr. McGuire was Vice President and General Manager, Sales and Services, U.S. and Canada, for StorageTek where he reported to the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and led a team of more than 1,500 sales and services employees.
