1,400 Visitors at SNW Europe in Frankfurt
Vs. 1,450 last year
By Jean Jacques Maleval | November 3, 2008 at 3:56 pmOfficially, "over two and a half days, SNW Europe welcomed over 1,400 visitors from 24 different EMEA countries and some coming from as far as Japan and the United States. In spite of the current economic climate and the resulting restrictions on travel budgets, the organizers were delighted that the total attendance all but matched that of 2007. This year, over 1,000 delegates were end users, resellers, analysts and members of the media, almost matching last year’s figures; once again the presence of press and analysts was strong with 70 in attendance from 13 countries."
The large majority of the visitors were German and we counted 53 booths.
Last year, we got the following figures: 1,450 attendees, 1,100 non-industry representatives, and also 53 booths.
Next SNW Europe will also be located in Frankfurt, Germany, but the SNIA is studying the possibility to organize this event in Paris in the future. Another idea is to push the Storage Academy in France to enlarge its audience and recruit more sponsors.
