Mario Apicella, well-known technology journalist and test center analyst, joins with SSG-NOW as director of the TPV Lab and services. TPV will focus on server and storage networking technology to provide SSG-NOW clients with objective, third party analysis and product validation reports. The new service offers rigorous product test and evaluation, measuring performance to validate reliability and scalability, assessing the use and value of the applied technology.

Apicella combines ten years reviewing storage and server systems in the publishing industry with decades of hands-on IT and managerial experience, selecting and deploying solutions for manufacturing and banking companies. The mix of experience gives him a unique point of view, bringing together journalistic objectivity with a business conscious, analytical expertise.
