Synology Inc. announced the formal release of its latest 2-bay Disk Station model, the ultra-high performance and quiet Disk Station DS209+. The DS209+ is equipped with hardware specifications of 800 MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, 3 USB ports and 1 eSATA port, and is furthermore batched with the most updated Synology Disk Station Manager 2.0 software released in late September of brand new business features and polished application enhancements.

The newly introduced 3-speed smart fan design adjusts its spinning rhythm automatically based on temperature detected.
