Kazutaka Yamaji Principal Consultant at InfoSmart

Former director of the board and senior VP for Memory-Tech

InfoSmart Group, Inc., Hong Kong’s recordable and replication digital versatile disc manufacturer, announced that the Board of Directors of InfoSmart appointed Kazutaka Yamaji as the Principal Consultant.

Kazutaka Yamaji was Director of the Board and Senior Vice President for Memory-Tech Corporation since 2003 and retired from Memory-Tech in June 2008. Mr. Yamaji has professional experience in the petrochemical industry and the optical disc industry as a board member. He led the team to contribute to 50% growth in consolidated sales in 2007 over the past 3 years and planned/initiated the next-generation DVD and digital archive systems and also implemented technology evaluation and environment assessment when acquiring the factory from Toshiba EMI and Sanyo Marbic.

Memory-Tech Corporation is one of the largest Optical disc companies in Japan. The production of stamper is 6,000 units per month; DVD is 27 million units per month; new-generation DVD is 11 million units per month; CD is 31 million units per month; total amounts are 58 million units per month (including the production of Toemi Media Solutions Limited. and Shanghai United Optical Disc Co., Ltd.).
