ProStor InfiniVault Now Available on SEWP Government Contract

ProStor Systems announced that the ProStor InfiniVault product family is now available on the NASA SEWP/GWAC contract through its partner, Alvarez & Associates LLC. This partnership enables all federal agencies to purchase ProStor InfiniVault, an intelligent data preservation system that retains the digital assets of an organization at the lowest cost and power profile as long as is required.  

“This partnership with ProStor Systems allows us to provide our government customers with a unique family of products that dramatically reduces the cost and effort of proper long-term retention of data,” said Kirk Hanson, vice president of the SEWP Division at Alvarez & Associates. “We are impressed with the ProStor InfiniVault system because it reduces primary and backup storage by 50 percent, lowers power consumption by 75 percent, and uses RDX removable disk technology so that our customers gain the performance advantages of online storage with the economics of offline storage.”

Alvarez & Associates is one of only six Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small businesses who have been selected by the NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) in the SEWP (Scientific Engineering Workstation Procurement) program.   Government agencies earn SDVO (service disabled veteran owned) credits when purchasing through Alvarez & Associates.  Alvarez & Associates has been awarded contracts by the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, Transportation, Labor, State, and Veteran Affairs.
