Additional Tivoli Products Added to IBM System x Ordering System

Additional Tivoli products can now be configured and ordered for System x servers, BladeCenter blades, and IntelliStation workstations, with offered operating systems, using the System x ordering system.

Now available through the System x ordering system:

• IBM Tivoli Continuous Data Protection for Files Starter Edition V3.1.3
• IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Microsoft Applications V6.1.1
• IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager for OS Deployment V5.1.1

In addition, the following products, already available through the System x ordering system, are being updated to reflect a new pricing metric:

• IBM Tivoli Continuous Data Protection for Files V3.1.1
• IBM System Storage Archive Manager V5.5

You can configure and order a system with the set of features, functions, and options you select. Using a configurator can help you define your system to your unique requirements. The configurator tools generate all the information you need to create valid solution orders.

Eligible Tivoli products, offered and selected during the configuration process with each hardware system, will be enabled for electronic download for the system unit for which the product was ordered. Optionally, software and license only configurations can be created for these Tivoli products based on existing supported hardware system units in your business environment. Tivoli offerings, applicable in this announcement, are available exclusively via electronic download.

End-of-service dates are unaffected by this announcement. The product retains its initial general availability date for purposes of calculating end-of-service dates for the version and release specified in the original Passport Advantage  announcement.
