Tek-Tools With 3PAR

Tek-Tools Software announced its alliance with 3PAR, the leading global provider of utility storage, a category of highly virtualized tiered-storage arrays built for utility computing.

Under the agreement, Tek-Tools’ Storage Profiler, a high-performance, Web-based storage management solution, adds support for 3PAR InServ Storage Servers. Profiler provides 3PAR customers with comprehensive data storage information in both physical and virtualized IT environments. Tek-Tools software enables organizations with 3PAR InServ Storage Servers to manage their assets and storage utilization across the enterprise. With Tek-Tools software, IT management can create trending and forecasting reports across multi-vendor products and can monitor events on mission-critical storage devices and applications.

Customers have been using the Profiler for 3PAR module in production environments for a single pane-of-glass view of their storage infrastructure, reclaiming terabytes of over-allocated storage, capturing performance data, and optimizing capacity planning, avoiding unnecessary IT purchases and unplanned outages.
