This configuration change will be implemented in NAS running QTS 5.2 / QuTS hero h5.2 OSs or later versions. Users can obtain Cloud Key information from the label on the QNAP NAS body, and use the Cloud Key as the admin password after the NAS system initializes.

The company also advises users to immediately change the password after logging into the NAS using the initial password. When resetting the password, it is crucial to choose a strong password. Additionally, the firm recommends considering passwordless login or enabling two-step verification to further enhance account security.

If you cannot find the Cloud Key on the NAS label, contact the company’s support.
