Corsair MP700 PRO PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 2280 Up to 4TB SSDs with Three Different Cooling Options

Corsair launched of the MP700 PRO, its fastest PCIe Gen5 M.2 SSD.

Available in capacities up to 4TB, with 3 different cooling options, the MP700 PRO sets a new standard for next-gen storage, with sequential RW performance reaching a 12,400MB/s and 11,800MB/s respectively ^(*) – that’s up to 75% faster than PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

On top of the sequential throughput, the random RW performance of up to 1.5 million read and 1.6 million write IO/s put the MP700 PRO ahead of PCIe Gen 4 drives. The product is backward compatible with PCIe 4.0 motherboards ^(**), making this an upgrade that will last for years to come. Native support for Microsoft DirectStorage ensures that you’ll get the most from the latest games, while copying files in Windows and loading applications has never felt so fast.

Utilizing the M.2 2280 form-factor, the MP700 PRO installs easily into desktop motherboards for all-around compatibility. To achieve its performance, this SSD requires additional cooling, most commonly using the integrated M.2 cooling provided by the user’s motherboard. For those that require a more advanced cooling, the MP700 PRO is available with a fully-assembled Air Cooler, which ensures that the drive is kept cool during operation and performs optimally.

Alternatively, the MP700 PRO Hydro X series version ships with a pre-assembled water block that fits into user custom cooling loop, delivering top-of-the-line cooling and performance while virtually eliminating throughput throttling. This water block is compatible with industry standard 1/4″ fittings and is built to the exacting standards that you’d expect from Corsair custom cooling hardware.

Like all the company’s SSDs, the MP700 PRO is supported by free Corsair SSD Toolbox software, enabling convenient features such as secure erase and firmware updates directly from your desktop.
