Tuxera FlashFX Tera Selected by NASA

Tuxera, Inc. announced that its FlashFX Tera software is being utilized in 2 NASA missions led by the agency’s Ames Research Center in California’s Silicon Valley: BioSentinel and VIPER.

FlashFX Tera, a flash memory manager, has been selected for its performance, reliable operation, and enhanced lifetime of flash storage in extreme environments. The software ensures reliable storage, making it a critical component in these high-stakes space missions.

BioSentinel, which had a successful lunar flyby late last year, is studying the risks posed by radiation in deep space, while VIPER, NASA’s first robotic lunar rover, aims to map the location and concentration of water ice and other potential resources in a range of environments on the moon’s South Pole. These critical missions demand data reliability and system longevity, both of which FlashFX Tera delivers on.
