Italian Bedding Company Dorelan Chooses Nakivo and Horsa

Nakivo Inc. announced that Dorelan has selected its Backup & Replication to protect their environment.

Dorelan is one of the best-known Italian brands for sleep products. It manufactures and sells mattresses, bed bases, pillows, and designer beds, guaranteeing customers high-quality products.

It operates out of 3 sites, with 3 physical servers and 45 VMs containing the company’s critical data, such as databases with sales and customer data, CRM data, working folders and files, and other information. Backup and recovery services are essential for the end user since all transactions and customer data should be available 24/7 for the business to be operational. If the data is unavailable, all business operations come to a standstill.

Dorelan’s previous VM backup solution involved long backup times, and the long recovery times were not acceptable for the company. The firm decided to look for a new VM backup solution because the company needed to protect their data in a secure way, without spending a significant amount of time on managing the solution. The main criteria for selection were speed and reliability.

Horsa Spa., Dorelan’s ICT partner, recommended Backup & Replication as a possible replacement for the previous VM backup software. Horsa installed Backup & Replication on a Qnap NAS and supported Dorelan during the whole implementation and deployment stage.
