John Blumenthal Chief Product and Business Officer, Volumez

Following a second VC round a few months ago, Volumez, an emerging storage infrastructure player, has recruited John Blumenthal to become its chief product and business officer.

The ISV continues to recruit high calibers as employees like Amir Faintuch, CEO or Brian Carmody, field CTO, but also as advisors with Shmuel Shottan, former CTO of BlueArc, or Iri Trashanski, former SVP of products at Hitachi Vantara.

Blumenthal is a recognized executive with experience in cloud infrastructure and storage.

He was recently at HPE following the acquisition of CloudPhysics in 2021 and before spent several years at VMware and even before at Veritas Software.

He probably detected some sort of modern Veritas Volume Manager approach in Volumez’ solution.
