History 2002: Shinjiro Iwata President and CEO, HDS

A new president and CEO arrives at Hitachi Data Systems, Shinjiro Iwata, born in June 6, 1948, with a 29-year career at Hitachi, succeeding Dr. Jun Naruse who returns to Japan.

Marlene Woodworth, formerly VP of product marketing and management at HDS, was promoted VP and GM, global marketing and operations.

Christine Wallis, most recently VP of Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) unit at Hitachi, was named HDS VP global strategy and planning.
