This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on April 3, 2023 at 2:01 pmDropsuite Ltd. has announced an addition to its cloud backup suite: Intuit QuickBooks Online Backup.
With this addition to their existing backup and archiving solutions including email, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, company’s partners and clients are well equipped with a suite of cloud-based data protection tools.
Intuit QuickBooks Online (QBO) is the industry standard with over 7 million users WW and 80% of the total SMB accounting software marketplace. As businesses increasingly look to cloud-based solutions to help streamline operations and reduce costs, the adoption of QuickBooks Online is expected to continue its growth trajectory. The company’s QBO Backup product enhances data protection for QuickBooks Online customers by offering a solution ensuring the safety of customers’ valuable financial data while also providing secure access and recovery when needed. Designed with MSPs in mind, the solution helps partners reduce risk for their customers while also growing their service offerings.
Manoj Kalyanaraman, CTO, says: “As always, our primary goal is to provide MSPs and their clients with top-notch cloud-based data protection solutions. Our latest addition ensures easy deployment for any business operating with QuickBooks Online as well as streamlined access control management for MSPs handling multiple accounts simultaneously. Ultimately we want our partners to be able to protect their client’s financial data without worry or hassle – allowing them to focus on what really matters: growing their business.“
This launch comes at a pivotal time as Intuit prioritizes QuickBooks online offering and evolves its QuickBooks Solution Provider Program. Early in 2022, Intuit debuted an update which enabled participating MSPs and IT Service Providers to own the customer subscription billing relationship along with including their own solutions or services in a recurring model.
According to Charif El-Ansari, CEO: “Dropsuite’s QuickBooks Online Backup is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the new capabilities offered by Intuit while providing customers with a much-needed and independent data protection solution. The product leverages Dropsuite’s award-winning technology and ensures the same standard of customer experience that has delighted our partners.”
Ryan Walsh, CSO, Pax8, technology marketplace and pne of Dropsuite’s strategic global partnerships – commented on the importance of this launch to their business: “QuickBooks Online helps our partners and their customers save time and accomplish more, and we recently added it to our marketplace to enable customer’s financial growth across multiple locations. The importance of the data stored in this software cannot be understated, and with Dropsuite’s new QBO Backup product, we knew we had found the logical recipe to MSP’s success.”
The company’s QBO Backup product offers continuous and on-demand backup of over 40 QBO data objects securely for quick and easy restore. Businesses can take advantage of point-in-time restore, download archived files for reporting, import into QBO, replicate records to other QBO accounts for testing and training purposes, upgrade/downgrade subscription plans, entity changes, auditing purposes, and create charts of account templates. Furthermore, businesses can utilize the extensive search feature for quick access and reference to backed-up accounting files when needed.
The firm’s QuickBooks Online Backup solution is available starting April 3 through its partner network, allowing customers to add the service into their existing IT environment without switching vendors or adding complexity.
