Sabrent EC-U2SA USB 3.2 Type-A to SATA/U.2 SSD External Adapter

Sabrent, Inc. announced the EC-U2SA, a USB 3.2 Type-A to SATA/U.2 SSD Adapter enables user connect  2.5”/3.5” SATA SSDs and HDDs plus 2.5” U.2 SSDs to computer via USB.

This interface is rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 and can reach speeds up to 10Gb/s, but is backward compatible at respective transfer rates. Drives requiring extra power for stability, such as 3.5” HDDs and U.2 SSDs, can benefit from the included power adapter.

The adapter supports TRIM to ensure endurance for drives and UASP for performance. It is plug and play with Windows and macOS but may also work with other devices. The integrated USB cable makes it convenient to connect to a variety of hosts with minimal worry. Plug in the drive and access data immediately. An integrated LED indicates power status so user know when ready to go.

Simplicity tool-free and easy to use
Easily access 2.5” and 3.5” SATA SSDs and HDDs or U.2 (SFF-8639) SSDs with this tool-less USB adapter. This adapter makes it simple to work with a variety of drives.

Compatibility USB with TRIM and UASP
The adapter connects through a USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 (USB 3.1) interface for up to 10Gb/s of bandwidth. It is backward compatible with older USB ports at respective protocol speed limits. It supports TRIM and UASP for device endurance and performance.

Power handles hungry drives:
A power adapter is included to provide power for 3.5” HDDs and U.2 SSDs. This helps make sure drives have sufficient power to remain stable during prolonged use.
