Joining company in 2017 as CFO and VP operations

An industry veteran with decades of experience leading successful enterprise transformational change, maximizing profits and positioning organizations for sustainable growth, he will lead the company in crafting and executing organizational vision and strategy, driving overall financial performance, and empowering operational excellence within the organization.
“Mark’s unparalleled understanding of Hitachi Vantara Federal’s business operations, combined with his deep federal domain expertise, makes him the perfect candidate to lead Hitachi Vantara Federal to continued sustainable growth,” said Darryl Garrett, COB of directors. “I am certain he will be an invaluable leader to the organization as they work to bring Hitachi Vantara’s market-leading solutions into the United States federal government.”
Serway joined Hitachi Vantara Federal in 2017 as the company’s CFO and VP of Operations. Prior to his tenure within Hitachi Vantara Federal, he served as CFO for various government IT solutions providers including Govplace, Inc., Akima, and Paradigm Solutions.

He received his MBA in Finance from Averett University and bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from James Madison University. He is a member of AFCEA, Financial Executives International (FEI), and the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).
