Total contract value at SEK 3.1 billion

Proact IT Sweden AB has qualified to sign new framework agreements with Kammarkollegiet (the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency).

Proact Signs Data Centre Framework Agreements For Swedish Public Sector

This enables Proact to continue building IT infrastructure for the public sector in Sweden.

The new data centre framework agreements are valid for the next 4 years and apply to the entire public sector in Sweden, including national agencies, regional and local government. Proact in Sweden has qualified as a supplier for the procurement areas data centre 2019 – data centre solutions, and data centre 2021 – servers and storage. For the servers and storage area, the total contract value is estimated at SEK 3.1 billion. Proact is one among 7 qualified suppliers within this area.

It was also a contracted supplier in the previous Swedish data centre framework agreement, which expired in March 2021. Due to unsettled legal challenges, 3 of the 4 procurement areas covered by this have been without a contract until now. Kammarkollegiet plans for the new agreements to become effective in March 2022.

We are very pleased that the new framework agreements are finally in place, and Proact looks forward to extending our collaboration with all our public sector customers in Sweden. Our offering covers market leading solutions for modern IT infrastructure, while we also provide the expertise they need to drive further digitalisation,” says Lena Eskilsson, MD, Proact IT Sweden.

Proact has experience as a data centre partner to public organisations, being included in Swedish public sector framework agreements for more than 15 years. The new agreements enable the vendor to deliver digital solutions for forward-looking initiatives in public administration and services. Its customers in the Swedish public sector include amongst others the Västra Götaland Region, the universities at Gothenburg and Örebro and Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority).
