Xtreme Innovation: Adata Launches Legend PCIe Gen4 and SE920 USB-4 External SSD

And also Premier Extreme SDXC PCIe Express card, XPG Xenia 14/15 gaming lifestyle Ultrabook, XPG gaming components, XPG Prime ecosystem management software, and XPG GRIT training software

Adata Technology Co., Ltd. unveiled new products at its Xtreme Innovation online product launch event.

The online event took place on August 5, 2021 and showcased the latest products and solutions from both Adata and XPG, including SSDs, DRAM modules, memory cards, and PC components, and systems. The event was hosted by XPG’s own Mera and coincides with the company‘s 20th anniversary celebrations taking place throughout 2021.

DDR5 memory module
The company also unveiled its next-gen DDR5 memory module, which sports frequencies of 8,400MT/s, up to 163% faster than DDR4. This performance boost will allow files and tools to load faster for seamless multitasking and enhanced creative productivity. The module will operate at 1.1V for improved power efficiency and comes with capacities of up to 64GB.

In an era of social media, video streaming, and 5G, high-quality content has become the backbone of our world. The company is ready to meet the needs of creators with a slew of new products. Among them is
firm’s Legend PCIe Gen4 SSD. The SSD is able to achieve read speeds of up to 7,400MB/s, for video editing and 3D rendering.

SE920 USB-4 external SSD
The company introduced its USB-4 external SSD. Utilizing USB-4 interface, the SE920 is capable of speeds that are up to f4x faster than its USB-3.2 predecessors. This equates to a speed of roughly 4,000MB/s. For maximum stability in any environment, the SE920 is equipped with the firm’s proprietary heat conduction technology to keep things cool and optimal.

Premier Extreme SDXC PCIe Express card
The company also unveiled its next-gen memory card, the Premier Extreme SDXC SD 7.0 Express PCIe Gen3x1 UHS-I U3 Class 10. This memory card supports PCIe, thanks to the latest SD 7.0 spec. The SDXC Express card will provide a performance boost over its predecessors with read and write speeds up to 800/700MB/s. This card is backwards compatible with UHS-I for ease of use.

XPG Xenia 14 gaming lifestyle Ultrabook
Many new gaming products were introduced as well, including the Xenia 14. This gaming lifestyle ultrabook comes with an 11th Gen Intel Corp.’s i5 or i7 processor, Iris XE integrated graphics, 16GB of XPG DDR4 RAM, and a lightning-fast 512GB XPG Gen 4 SSD. On the outside, the Xenia 14 is gorgeous and portable with a 15mm thin profile and an ultra-light premium Magnesium alloy body. It weighs 970g. Despite its portable form factor, this computer still manages to fit in a 14-inch screen with a 92% screen to body ratio. For all-day productivity or gaming, it offers up to 10 hours of battery life; and for easy connectivity it sports two USB type-C ports, two USB type-A ports, HDMI port, SD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, and Thunderbolt 4 support.

XPG Xenia 15 gaming lifestyle Ultrabook

The Xenia 15 comes with the Intel Corp.’s Tiger Lake H 11th Gen i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 GPU, 32GB of XPG DDR4 RAM, and a lightning fast XPG Gen 4 SSD with 1TB of storage space. Like the Xenia 14, it sports a Magnesium alloy body for a lightweight ultrabook that comes in under 2kg. It also features a mechanical keyboard with per-key RGB lighting, a 15.6-inch 165Hz QHD screen, and support Thunderbolt 4.

XPG Precog Aero gaming headset
The XPG Precog Aero was designed to give gamers wireless freedom. Its low-latency 2.4Ghz dedicated Type-C dongle can be used with mobile phones, portable consoles, and PCs for 24 hours of continuous wireless use. When wireless is not an option, it can still be used as a wired headset via USB cable. The headset sports XPG’s exoskeleton industrial design language with a lightweight construction and patented slanted ear cushions. It also features a cardioid microphone with a swivel to mute function,replaceable ear caps, and RGB lighting, which can be customized via XPG Prime.

In terms of SSDs, XPG currently offers a line of Gen4 models. Among them is its 2021 Red Dot award-winning G
ammix S70, which can reach speeds of up to 7,400MB/s. Also on offer are the Gammix S70 Blade and S50 Lite SSDs. As with Adata: XPG will launch new DDR5 memory modules later this year. This next-gen DRAM module will deliver speeds of up to 12,600MT/s for smoother gameplay and enhanced productivity. Other components include the 80 PLUS Platinum certified XPG Cybercore Platinum power supply unit. This PSU provides up to 1,300W of stable, continuous power and effective cooling with a built-in XPG Vento Pro 120mm fan with Nidec’s quiet double ball bearing design. 850W and 1,000W models will also be available.

XPG Prime ecosystem management software
Aside from hardware, the company also introduced its product ecosystem management software, XPG Prime. With XPG Prime, users can manage all their XPG product settings in one application to whatever degree they prefer. If they want to synchronize all their RGB lighting with a rainbow effect, they can do it in a click. Users can also set every LED on every XPG product manually to create a tailor-made lighting experience.

XPG GRIT training software
GRIT stands for Game Reaction Intensity Training. This software contains a series of training rooms that focus on helping players improve their gaming performance. Through the use of AI, GRIT can track users’ performance over time and identify specific weaknesses. By using this information, GRIT will recommend specific exercises to help users improve their skills, essentially acting as a digital Esports coach. Currently, GRIT is limited to only drills for FPS games, but XPG is working on expanding the scope to additional genres in the near future.
