In addition, its products are independently tested for conformity to CE standards for safety and emissions for EU.
The ETL Listed Mark affixed to the firm’s products is issued by Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL), a NRTL, and indicates compliance with UL, IEC and CSA safety standards. Electrical Testing Labs is a long-established and widely recognized NRTL and was founded by Thomas Edison in 1896. To ensure continued compliance, ETL performs unannounced quarterly inspections of the company’s manufacturing process.
