Fred Vasofsky MD Vertical Solutions, Panasas

Panasas, Inc. has appointed industry executive Fred Vasofsky to spearhead the company’s expanding presence in key vertical markets.

He takes on the role of MD, vertical solutions, brings 25 years of experience working with federal government and commercial customers to Panasas. During his career, he has held senior executive roles in federal sales and channel management. This includes Fusion-io, where he helped deploy some of the earliest SSDs for performance storage into federal customer environments, prior to its acquisition by SanDisk. While at SanDisk, he was charged with driving all US federal government sales, then promoted to run enterprise commercial sales for North America. He was most recently GM of Weka.io.
