Tyan, MiTAC Computing Technology Corp. subsidiary, brings a variety of AI, cloud and storage server platforms incorporating the AMD EPYC 7003 Series processors in it’s 2021 server solutions online exhibition that began June 2 (registration required).

Attendees experienced demonstrations on the latest AMD products and technologies in HPC, cloud, storage, and 5G halls at the 3D virtual environment. Leveraging 3rd gen AMD EPYC processors, the Transport HX TN83-B8251 is a 2U dual-socket server with 16 DDR4-3200 DIMM slots, 2xhalf-height, half-length PCIe 4.0 x16 expansion slots for high-speed networking cards, and 8×3.5-inch SATA/NVMe U.2 hot-swap, tool-less drive bays. The platform supports up to 4 double-width GPU cards that can be scaled out to improve HPC and deep learning performance.

The Transport HX TS75A-B8252 is a 2U dual-socket server platform optimized for virtualization applications with support for 32 DDR4-3200/2933 DIMM slots and up to 9xPCIe 4.0 x8 slots. The TS75A-B8252 accommodates 26×2.5-inch SATA hot-swap, tool-less drive bays with up to 8xNVMe U.2 support by configuration.

The FT65T-B8030 supports 4 double-width PCIe 4.0 x16 slots for GPUs to accelerate HPC applications.

The GC79-B8252 platform provides 4×3.5-inch SATA and 4×2.5-inch NVMe U.2 hot-swap, tool-less drive bays, while the GC79A-B8252 platform offers 12×2.5-inch drive bays with up to 12xNVMe U.2 support.
