History (1996): H.K. Desai President and CEO, QLogic

COB Gary Liebl announced that H.K. Desai has been promoted president and CEO of QLogic (Costa Mesa, CA) where he was president and CTO .

The position of CTO will not be reassigned.

Note: Desai remained CEO until 2010, when he gave up the post to become executive chairman. At 68, he died suddenly in June 2014 of cardiac arrest.
