The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: ”Providing secure software defined storage includes identifying data directed to be stored in a software defined storage location, intercepting the data, performing a security operation on the intercepted data, and transmitting the data to the software defined storage.”
The patent application was filed on February 22, 2018 (Appl. No.15/902,884).
