The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: ”A system and method for dynamically sizing system memory for a computing device using firmware and NVDIMMs is discussed. Additionally techniques for allocating between system memory and non-volatile storage on one or more NVDIMMs are discussed.”
