They are experienced leaders recognized for their abilities in developing people functions and engineering teams for hyper growth organizations. These executives are in addition to the recent hires in marketing and North America sales leadership teams.
“These leaders are joining Zadara at a time of rapid growth and unlimited opportunity,” said Nelson Nahum, CEO. “Their impressive track records and expertise will help us continue to best serve our rapidly growing network of partners, service providers, and enterprise customers with innovative edge cloud technologies and services. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome these top-notch executives to Zadara.”
Prior to joining Zadara, Shirley Braun served as CPO for Callisto Media, where she was instrumental in the growth of the company from 65 to nearly 400 people in 2 years. At Zadara, she will lead the people function and its employee initiatives, both of which are essential for growth.
“Behind every successful company are its people,” she said. “I am excited to join Zadara during such a pivotal time for the business. I look forward to partnering with Zadara to continue to invest in employee success and talent while fostering the culture of innovation and change.”
Shiri Kerman joins from Clarizen, where she was VP of R&D, leading the development of its main product. She also drove the development and deployment of a new SaaS service running in an AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure. While a senior director at Dell, she was charged with their file storage product and conducted an integration with leading storage products. In her new role as VP of engineering, she will oversee engineering with a focus on Zadara’s latest production-ready compute-as-a-service solutions, zCompute.
“Zadara is changing the way organizations access and secure their data with its fully managed edge cloud technologies and services,” she said. “It’s an important time to be joining Zadara. I look forward to using my expertise in scaling and leading engineering teams capable of pioneering IT solutions that our customers and partners depend on, more so now than perhaps ever before.“
Increased Need for Flexible Infrastructure
2020 left its mark – enacting permanent change in many organizations and redefining business operations across the globe. Enterprises must maximize access to their data while reducing the complexity and costs of the infrastructure behind it.
During a year of constant shifts and challenges, Zadara and its partners remain committed to offering flexible and dependable edge cloud solutions as-a-service. With the addition of zCompute late last year, the company in storage-as-a-service now offers AWS-compatible, production-ready compute-as-a-service solutions for MSPs and enterprises. The product enables partners to build competitive private edge cloud environments without traditional Capex investment.
