UpCloud Object Storage Cloud Storage Solution for Content Delivery and Data Archival

UpCloud Ltd. introduces Object Storage, a cloud storage solution for content delivery and data archival.

“Object Storage provides a delivery platform for static content separate from Cloud Servers, as well as a place to store archival data such as backups. All Object Storage buckets are private by default keeping the data safe. Object Storage can be used for private storage that is securely attached to cloud servers via private networks, or made public and used for delivering files on the Internet.

Flexible management with 3 plans to choose from the firm’s Object Storage comes in three plans with data capacities of 250, 500GB and 1TB. Each plan includes a set amount of transfer quota per month. Even though individual Object Storage instances have a capacity limit of 1TB, users can deploy as many of them as needed for their storage capacity requirements. In addition, any smaller Object Storage instances can be easily scaled up by adding more storage.

Moreover, with the upcoming launch of the company’s Network Transfer Pool, Object Storage instances and cloud servers can share their transfer quotas without any extra configuration or fee!

At launch, Object Storage is available in 4 firm’s data centres: FI-HEL2 in Helsinki, Finland, NL-AMS1 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, SG-SIN1 in Singapore, and US-CHI1 in Chicago, IL, with a plan to cover all company’s data centres globally.
