Nutanix University Launches Next Gen of Certifications

Nutanix, Inc. extended multi-level Certification Program, designed to enable the skills and knowledge needed to implement, manage, optimize, and scale Nutanix multi-product software.

The program provides certifications across 4 skill levels and 6 new technology tracks to better meet participants’ current and future career goals.

In addition to the 3 current skill levels of certifications – Professional (NCP), Master (NCM), and Expert (NPX) – the expanded offering will include an Associate certification (NCA), a foundational program for building a career in multicloud technology. The company is also releasing a new training course to help participants prepare for the NCA certification exam, titled Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Fundamentals. The course will cover the products, capabilities, and technologies that form the foundation of firm’s hybrid cloud solution.

This new training and certification tracks extend beyond AOS and HCI and will cover an array of new skills.

Consistent with Nutanix’s overall product direction, its new training and certification program focuses on 4 key areas:

• Digital HCI Services (multicloud infrastructure)
• Data Center Services (storage services, security and governance, BC)
• DevOps Services (multicloud automation, database automation)
• Desktop Services (end user computing)

These tracks will be rolled out over the next several months.

Learning plans at Nutanix University are designed around flexibility and freedom. With bite-sized online courses, participants can complete training and certification courses at their own pace, or can opt for the engagement and interaction of an instructor-led class. Material is broken down into distinct modules allowing attendees to go in-depth on specific content or skip what they know. In addition, Nutanix offers Exam blueprint guides and practice exams to round out a blended learning package of instructor-led training, digital training, PDF references, and videos. To date, thousands in the community – including Nutanix customers, partners, employees, prospects, and more – have completed Nutanix certification programs.
