iBoysoft in China With Data Recovery for Mac V.3.6 Software Compatible T2-Encrypted Mac Devices

As the second gen of T series chip for Apple Mac computers, as its name suggests, the T2 security chip adds another layer of security to Macs through encrypted storage, secure boot and microphone/camera hardware disconnect. The new updated features bring challenges to third-party recovery and repair workshops.

By checking About This Mac>System Report> iBridge or Controller, you will know if your Mac comes with a T2 security chip. If a Mac was shipped with macOS 10.14 Mojave or released in 2018 or later, it is possible that the Mac has a T2 chip.

To reach the success rate of data recovery, all deleted and lost files will be retrieved in macOS Recovery. The updated version 3.6 will skip the download and installation procedures and be directly launched through iBoysoft’s server.

System Integrity Protection (SIP) protects the Mac’s start-up disk from unauthorized access or modification. To scan the drive that contains OS, it used to require turning off SIP first in Recovery Mode. Data Recovery for Mac version 3.6 improves its algorithm to scan the Mac’s internal HDD without disabling SIP.
