This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on August 18, 2020 at 2:08 pmEdward S. Rothchild died at his home in San Francisco, CA on October 13, 1992, after a long illness for which he fought for over a year.
He was chairman of Rothchild Consultants and founder in 1982 of Optical Memory News, a newspaper sold about a year ago to Phillips Business Information.
Ed was unanimously recognized as one of the best observers of the WW optical storage industry.
He loved classical music, travelling and photography.
He is survived by his wife, Gail.
