Verbatim GmbH launched a range of M.2 2280 internal SSDs, delivering speed and low power consumption for desktop, ultrabook and notebook client upgrades.

The NVMe interface has been designed for SSD technology to get the maximum performance by reducing bottlenecks and latency times. The Vi3000 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSDs takes advantage of this, producing read/write speeds of up to 3,100/2,900MB/s ^(*) respectively, which is 50x faster than a regular HDD.

For those without the NVMe PCIe interface, the Vi560 S3 M.2 SSD can breathe new life into an older system by upgrading a mechanical HDD or a legacy 2D NAND SSD. With read/write speeds of up to 560MB/s/520MB/s (*) (which is 10x faster than a HDD), they can transform the performance and productivity levels of any HDD-based PC or laptop computer.

Vi560 S3 M.2 SSDs are available in Europe. Vi3000 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSDs will be available from May 2020.
