Mike Canavan Chief Revenue Officer, Pavilion

Pavilion Data Systems, Inc. announced that Mike Canavan has joined the company as its chief revenue officer.

He is an industry veteran with more than 18 years of sales leadership experience within the data management market. He will be responsible for all aspects of revenue gen with commitment to customer satisfaction.
 
He joins Pavilion from Pure Storage, where he was the global VP sales for Flashblade. Prior to that, he was at Hitachi Vantara; his tenure there spanned more than 11 years. During this time, among other roles, he was the VP sales for the emerging solutions business. His areas of responsibility included development of the go-to-market strategy, organizational integration and revenue growth of newly-acquired technologies. Before Hitachi Vantara, he held sales and leadership positions at EMC and Boston Scientific.
