Egnyte Expands in Raleigh, NC and Hoping to Recruit 120 Employees

New executives: Eric Cross, David Spitz, Ramin Farassat

Egnyte, Inc., provider of the content platform for business, opened an office in Raleigh, NC, in hopes to bring 120 jobs to the area.

Over the past year, it has made investments in its growth. After taking on an additional $75 million from Goldman Sachs last October, it has grown it’s employee count to 700+ employees, growing its workforce in Mountain View, CA; Spokane, Washington; Poznan, Poland; Berkshire, England; and now Raleigh, NC.

We’ve been monitoring Raleigh for quite some time and we see it becoming one of the next big tech hubs,” said Vineet Jain, CEO and co-founder. “Like previous tech hubs in Ann Arbor and Austin, we see Spokane, Washington, and Raleigh, NC as the next hubs to double down our investments. Our goal has been and will continue to be, to step outside of the highly-competitive Silicon Valley market and seek out the top talent in other blossoming regions around the world. While we have always been committed to providing highly competitive wages, benefits packages, and career growth opportunities, we believe the real draw for employees is the unique market opportunity resulting from a growing intersect of content collaboration and content governance – which truly makes this a special time to be a part of our company.

Egnyte has seen growth in all of its offices throughout the world in 2019. Since the beginning of the year, the company has hired more than 100 employees worldwide and has made multiple key executives hires:
