He will lead the Tokyo-based team to drive growth in Japan by developing relationships with local partners and promoting the cyber protection technology.
Acronis offers easy, efficient, and secure cyber protection solutions that address the Five Vectors of Cyber Protection – ensuring the safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security of data (SAPAS). Businesses can create reliable backups that are easily available, control who has visibility and access to their data, have proof of their data’s authenticity, and protect their data, applications, and systems against cyberattacks with an integrated, AI-based defense.
Kaki will assist Japanese partners and customers with technology selection, help service providers maximize the use of Acronis Cyber Cloud (formerly Acronis Data Cloud), promote the recently-announced Cyber Platform to the OEM and developers’ community, and continue working with businesses and enterprises on optimizing their data management tasks. In the consumer space, he will drive accelerated adoption of personal cyber protection solutions such as Acronis True Image.
Kaki has an understanding of the Japanese IT industry and established relationships with major local system integrators. He has a track record of working with channels to deliver growth. Prior to joining Acronis, ke was a channel sales director with Box Japan, and was responsible for the whole Japanese channel operations for F5 Networks Japan. He has also held the position of president at Clearswift and director of consumer business at McAffee.
