Computex: Essencore Unveils Klew CRAS C700 RGB NVMe M.2 Up to 480GB to SSD
Up to 1,500MB/s and 1,300MB/s sequential RW speeds for SSD
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 24, 2019 at 2:48 pmEssencore Ltd. showcased several additions to its Klevv range of products at the Computex 2019 show in Taipei, Taiwan, including RGB-equipped M.2 SSDs and memory modules.
CRAS C700 RGB NVMe M.2 SSD
This is the firm’s second appearance at Computex, following a debut last year. The company will be showing its technology along with these products at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Taiwan.
CRAS C700 RGB SSD – dazzling display
The CRAS C700 RGB NVMe M.2 SSD unleashes speed and performance that’s for the intense scenarios, such as gaming, graphic design and video editing. It’s aluminum alloy heatsink offers heat conductivity, and also provides full-color lighting effects, enhanced by a glittering gem-like multi-faceted light diffuser, to ensure it will be the focus of any PC build.
This M.2 2280 form factor SSD takes advantage of a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface supported by NVMe 1.3 technology, offering faster speed than legacy non-PCIe products. CRAS C700 RGB can reach sequential read speeds of 1,500MB/s, and sequential write speeds up to 1,300MB/s, and is available in 120, 240 and 480GB capacities. (For users wishing to take advantage of CRAS C700’s performance without the light effect, the company also offers the CRAS C700 M.2 SSD, without RGB LEDs).
The firm employs its own heatsink design which can reduce SSD core temperature by as much as 27%, ensuring stable and reliable long-term performance. The CRAS C700 RGB will also be compatible with most motherboard platforms’ own RGB SYNC software, allowing users to design their own color and lighting displays. It also features a 10-layer PCB board for better data integrity, and 8 RGB LEDs which can be controlled individually.
RGB DDR4 gaming memory, prototypes revealed
The CRAS X RGB DDR4 gaming memory series is being extended with support for faster speeds of 3,600, 4,000, and 4,266 MHz. This is a memory for gamers, enthusiasts and overclockers, with performance, fully controllable RGB lighting, and an exquisite and effective heatsink. These memory modules offer compatibility, including support for Intel and AMD platforms (up to 3,600MHz), and compatibility with RGB LED controller software from manufacturers including ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock.
As well as its SSDs and memory modules, the company will also be demonstrating two prototype products at Computex 2019: a Bluetooth USB drive with special connection features, and an SSD which can be remotely protected by a mobile app for improved security.
