It’s a compact, portable device designed with USB 3.1 technology using the universal, reversible USB-C connector; it may be connected to the host computer using the computer’s USB 3.1 Type C interface, or older USB 2.0/3.0 type A interfaces and is supplied standard with both host connectors.
The USB C-to-SATA DriveLock features native support for SATA drives (2.5″/3.5″), with optional adapters supporting M.2 SATA; 2.5″/3.5″ IDE; MicroSATA; e-SATA; ZIF; and 1.8″ IDE notebook drives. It provides an all-in-one write-protect solution with native support for most common device interfaces.
This USB-C DriveLock units utilize the USB 3.1 Gen.2 technology to achieve theoretical transfer rates of 48GB/mn.
