NAB: Promax Adds Cloud Storage for Platform Systems

ProMAX Systems, Inc. announces the launch of ‘Cloud Storage’ for the company’s Platform systems series.

This integration takes the capabilities of Platform to the next level, allowing users to store and retrieve media files from the cloud directly from the Platform software interface.

This cloud integration will allow users to integrate cloud storage capabilities into their video workflows using the same Platform software interface they use for the rest of their media management tasks. The firm’s cloud storage gives users the ability to generate proxies, tag and search for media files just as if they were trying to access them on their local storage.

The development team paid attention to making sure the cloud integration did not add complexity to the user experience.

The company’s cloud storage will support cloud licenses for Google, Backblaze, Azure and Amazon S3.
