Select IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC) and select Storwize models deliver a higher-capacity disk drive option for increased system capacity.

Select IBM FlashSystem 9100 and Storwize models deliver a 4-port 32Gb FC with FC-NVMe for expanded connectivity and increased performance on FlashSystem 9100, Storwize V7000 Model 724, and Storwize V5100.

SVC and Storwize deliver a higher-capacity, 14TB 7,200 rpm 12Gb SAS 3.5-inch HDD option for increased system capacity on SVC (models 12F and 92F), Storwize V7000 (models 12F and 92F), Storwize V5000 (models 112, 212, 312, 12F, and 92F), and Storwize V5000E (models 212, 312, 12F, and 92F).

Key requirements

• The 4-port 32GB FC adapter card feature requires Spectrum Virtualize V8.3.0, or later, for operation.
• The 14TB 7,200rpm 3.5-inch NL HDD feature requires Spectrum Virtualize V7.4, or later, for operation.
