These specifically for NAS built SSDs were revealed at CES 2019 in Las Vegas, NV, and bring the benefits of SSDs to network storage – higher performance and reliability, lower energy consumption and cooling requirements.
The IronWolf 110 SSDs provide enterprise endurance and reliability with a MTBF of two million hours, have a 24/7 always-on work ethic and will be available this month with capacities of 240GB up to 3.84TB. These NAS drives are targeted for SMBs, can be deployed thanks to the 6Gb SATA interface and offer sequential reading speed of up to 560MB/s. Seagate Durawrite technology helps accelerate reads and writes, extend the life of the flash memory and provide up to 7,000TBW (total bytes written) on the 3.84TB capacity drive. Like traditional Seagate NAS HDDs, IronWolf Health Management (IHM) to monitor and safeguard your data and Seagate AgileArray NAS optimization to maximize concurrent access in multi-user environments are also supported. The IronWolf 110 SSDs come with professional-grade five-year limited warranty and two-year data recovery support.
