IBM FlashSystem A9000 and A9000R Offer Optional Hot Software Upgrade Method

FlashSystem A9000 and A9000R offerings add Remote Code Load (RCL) capability as an optional alternative to the existing on-premise software upgrade service.

RCL is fast and easy to coordinate because it does not require an onsite visit of an IBM services technician.

The RCL service executes the same nondisruptive (hot) software upgrade, and is provided under the existing support agreement at no additional cost.

Key requirements
Software upgrade through RCL can be scheduled using the A9000/A9000R Remote Code Upgrade webpage or by calling IBM support.
