Qnap NAS Being Veeam Ready

QNAP, Systems, Inc. announced that multiple enterprise NAS systems, including the ES1640dc v2 and TES-1885U, have been verified as Veeam Ready.

Veeam Software has granted QNAP NAS systems with the Veeam Ready Repository distinction, verifying these systems achieve the performance levels for backup and recovery with Veeam Backup & Replication˛ for virtual environments built on VMware, vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisors.

Veeam provides industry-leading Availability solutions for virtual, physical and cloud-based workloads, and verifying performance ensures that organizations can leverage Veeam advanced capabilities with QNAP NAS systems to improve recovery time and point objectives and keep their businesses up and running, said Jack Yang, associate VP of enterprise storage business division, QNAP.
