IBM Technology Support Services Intends to Offer New Red Hat Storage One

IBM Technology Support Services (TSS) releases the Red Hat Storage One from IBM, Multivendor Support Portfolio Statement of Direction (SOD)

IBM Technology Support Services, in conjunction with Red Hat, Inc. intends to offer a new Red Hat Storage One offering that provides an integrated, preconfigured solution that is designed to help clients take advantage of the flexibility, elasticity, and cost savings that software-defined storage solutions offer.

The solution will include:

• Red Hat Gluster storage software
• Lenovo hardware
• Support services from IBM’s team

By integrating these three elements, Red Hat Storage One from IBM can help to deploy software-defined storage in 30 minutes, with no need for proofs of concept.

Offering is designed around two workload-specific configurations:

• General-purpose NAS
• Content repository workloads
