MTS Launched Cloud-Based Service With Russian Regulatory Storage Requirements

Mobile TeleSystems PJSC (MTS) launched a cloud-based service to help businesses to meet Russian regulatory storage requirements.

The offering allows customers to store their information systems involved in collecting and processing personal data, providing tools for managing personnel, corporate content and customer relationships.

It also includes solutions to provide assistance in drafting documentation for approval by authorities.

Target customers include banks, insurance companies, medical organisations, logistics companies and retailers with loyalty programmes.

The solution is built around firm’s secure cloud system #CloudMTS which is based on the operator’s own data centres as well as VMware virtual platforms. The solution has built-in security through firewalls, anti-virus and threat analysis software.
