Talon Storage FAST Business Grew 150% in 2017

Talon Storage Solutions, Inc., provider of enterprise file sharing solutions for distributed locations, announced 2017 was a year of numerous customer wins, new partnerships, strong numbers, and another year of record growth at the level of over 150% from January 2017-December 2017.
 
2017 growth was due to several factors:
• Y/Y growth 150% in Talon FAST business
• Partnership with NetApp, which allows the extended value of the NTAP data fabric to distributed enterprises leveraging FAST.
• Customers: The firm continued to develop its customer base. Wins in 2017 included Sweco, Arup, Simpson StrongTie, Cochram, United Technologies, JD Power Associates, Cope Health, SwissRE, and BorgWarner.     
• Growth: 60% growth Y/Y in sites that have deployed FAST software globally.
• This represents a strong install bases in the market: 30% of EMEA revenue came from new customers. 40% growth of Americas revenue came from new customers.
• Products: Talon to GA release FAST version 5.0 in 2Q18: This release will introduce FAST updates allowing enterprises to manage consolidated and centralized storage more efficiently through various data modes.
• Channel: Company’s channel program continues to focus on the software defined storage market, storage services enablement and consolidation. A revamp program allows channel to benefit from above industry standard margin, and annual recurring subscription renewals.
