ProfitBricks Chooses Cloudian HyperStore

Cloudian, Inc., in enterprise object storage systems, announced that German IaaS-specialist ProfitBricks GmbH has selected its HyperStore to add object storage to cloud computing portfolio.

With HyperStore, ProfitBricks offers an easy-to-scale solution for customers who require fully S3-compatible cloud storage that is compliant with GDPR.

ProfitBricks selected Cloudian after an evaluation of multiple object storage vendors. Key Cloudian advantages included its modular scalability that allows capacity to be expanded up to a hundred petabytes or more without disruption. Also, Cloudian’s REST-API allowed for easy integration with ProfitBricks’ automated processes that accelerate routine management tasks.

Because ProfitBricks’ registered office and data centers are entirely within German borders, their customers are able to freely integrate public cloud in their storage portfolio environment while remaining compliant with German data privacy standards as well as with upcoming GDPR requirements.

HyperStore provides a compatible storage platform for unstructured data consolidation, supporting use cases that include data protection, NAS offload, media archiving, bioinformatics, AI.
