Violin Systems LLC announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued to the company United States Patent No. 9,733,836.

System and method for granular deduplication
This patent protects Violin’s advancement in delivering an all flash array with data deduplication. Selectable, high performance deduplication with predictable low latency is integrated with the suite of enterprise data services to complete the company’s Flash Storage Platform product portfolio, and allows customers to leverage the powerful cost efficiencies of deduplication without sacrificing application performance.
