Murat Karslioglu VP Solutions, CloudByte/OpenEBS

OpenEBS, sponsored by CloudByte Inc., announced OpenEBS v0.4, a container native open source storage solution that has generated interest on GitHub as the most preferred storage solution available.

Additionally, it also announced the appointment of Murat Karslioglu as their VP solutions.

Most recently, he was in the advanced development group at HPE storage, helping lead their storage management in hyper-onverged and container technology strategies. Previously, he was at Nexenta Systems in the office of the CTO.
 
OpenEBS v.0.4 continues the direction of OpenEBS towards greater ease of use. By being containerized and integrated into orchestration solutions, OpenEBS allows DevOps teams to simply manage their own storage without being concerned about cloud lock-in or performance challenges of centralized, scale out storage systems.
