ClearSky Data Extending Multi-Cloud Support for Public, Private Cloud Environments

ClearSky Data, Inc., provider of on-demand primary storage with built-in offsite backup and DR as a single service, announced it is partnering with public and private cloud providers – including AWS, Cloudian, Inc., Google, Inc. and Virtustream , Inc.

ClearSky’s Cloud Edge offering runs in the public cloud, allowing enterprises to choose the right cloud within a multi-cloud environment while also leveraging public cloud compute for processing without having to copy any data. Customers reap the benefits of the hybrid cloud combined with performance for their cloud-based workloads. 

A RightScale, Inc. report this year found almost 70% of enterprises are embracing hybrid cloud by deploying multiple public and private clouds. In addition to on-demand data access across multiple locations, these organizations want the flexibility to choose which cloud is right for each application.
