HDS Federal to Acquire Some Federal Brocade Assets
Comprised mainly of service maintenance contracts

(HDS Federal) signed a definitive agreement with Brocade Communication Systems, Inc. to accept the transfer and control of certain Brocade U.S. Federal cleared assets, comprised mainly of service maintenance contracts.
As part of the transaction, HDS Federal plans to expand its cleared employee capability with Brocade’s Federal cleared support professionals.
The close of the transaction is expected to occur coincident with the close of Broadcom’s pending acquisition of Brocade.
HDS Federal will gain the Brocade assets and contracts for cleared data center networking, campus/edge networking, and SAN service maintenance. The agreement supports HDS Federal’s transformation strategy to broaden its portfolio of federal offerings to support complex intelligence and engineering solutions for its customers.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
